Nilaveli Hybrid Holiday Hotel

Garden and cleanness in it, flowers and plants, cats. The food wasn't bad but in the bar just around the corner it was better.

Dirty bathroom, lack of warm water, lack of bulbs, lack of clean towels, no Glass in a window. For 2 days there was no air conditioning and we didn't get any refund for that. We have shortened our stay by one day and we haven't been refunded as well. So-called manager should have a second name "I promise". There was no locker in the room and no card payment available despite that being written in the hotel description (they suggested bank transfer to some employee's private account).

The rooms were clean and the locations was good as close to beach.

The WiFi signal wasn’t very good and also the food took very long to come after ordering.

Staff were wonderful, helped with motorcycle repair, loved the locals coming to play pool and swim, food was the best, grounds were nice, didn't have to leave to eat or have fun elsewhere.

We had a very nice and clean bedroom and bathroom. The hotel pool was enjoyable for us and also very hudge. The stuff people of the hotel are very friendly and helpful. The beach is a 30 minutes walk by food or you can also take a tuktuk to the beach. For breakfast you can choose a international breakfast or a typical sri Lankan breakfast. All in all we enjoyed our stay there a lot and would come back again. :)

The hostel is 3 km away from the beach; not 500m. Not well takencare of.

The property in itself is very nice and lovely pool and location is ok if wanting a week to chill around pool/ on beach. Pool was kept very clean most days and lovely shower.

The staff weren’t interested in helping us even though we were the only ones there. Don’t order food from the restaurant it is just chucked on a plate and/or a fryer. There seemed to be a lot of the public in and out of the hotel so we were surrounded by school kids running around and shouting whilst trying to eat lunch. Most evenings a crowd of men in the pool, shouting, drinking and keeping us up until late so we couldn’t use the pool table etc. It seems the staff just want to invite their mates and ignore guests.

The pool and surrounds are lovely. An excellent authentic local restaurant was nearby, just five minutes away on the main road. The Moon Isle restaurant was not too far away on the beach and excellent for an evening meal and drinks.The receptionist was very welcoming and we enjoyed the fresh juice offered on arrival.

The room was very dark for us, although others may enjoy that with poor lighting and only an opaque window..Although they were trying, breakfast was only average, with mediocre coffee.
