The town and hotel are lovely. Staff excellent. Some new and being trained but still giving excellent support with the groups kliene German spraken and the staff with their English knowledge. It was fun and laughter. Thank you to them all 🤗

Well the builders are in behind the main building and whilst we didn't know there was work ongoing we stayed Sunday overnight... So not a problem till Monday morning when builders pitched and started around 8am, and by 9am stone grinders were sending dust everywhere. They didn't use water to reduce dust. So for June'23 Make sure the builders have finished the foundations before you stay. In fairness the builders are very polite but the have a job and deadlines to keep (this is Germany)

Landhotel Buchenhof Garni is a decent place to stay alone or with a group. It is budget friendly, however also have a specific atmosphere that makes the stay pleasant. Specifically it has decorated social space (entrance, outside tables under the umbrella, breakfast area). Rooms are also clean and furnished. It worth the costs. The stuff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the highlight for me. A big variety of tasty local dishes. If you want, they cook eggs on demand.

Lovely historic hotel. Will built and maintained. Lots of real wood. Very nice upstairs dining area. Also tables outside.
