Property Notes

Please note much of the castle is still privately owned. Unfortunately not all facilities are accessible to the public. The Michelin-star Werners restaurant is open between 18:30 and 22:00 from Wednesdays to Sundays. On Sundays it is also open between 12:30 and 14:00. Please note that between January and March each year, the restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Breakfast is available every morning, but no other meals are available.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. A deposit may be required at the property.

This was our Honeymoon/1st Anniversary trip. The staff were wonderful, helpful and welcoming. Food was fantastic in the restaurant. The Schloss was warm and cosy throughout.

Wi-Fi coverage was not great in the room. But is this minor when on holiday. 4G is ok.

"Magical stay in a castle"

Wonderful castle in a very nice calm and peaceful surrounding. The room was spacious and the bed really comfy to sleep. Also very nice bathroom with bathtub which we enjoyed. Everything was perfect 👌

Nothing. We needed more time for our stay but unfortunately had to leave.

"Pretty setting but you don’t stay in the castle."

It was very pretty. But you cannot go in the castle it is private. So your room is in an attached building. Probably wouldn’t have stayed if I would have known that.

Couldn’t enter the castle.
