The Angel Posting House & Livery

Emily Suite was lovely, great space, plenty of room, decent bathroom. Angel Posting House is a character property so it has an awful lot of charm and is superbly located. It's worth noting that there are no lifts and as an old well maintained building it may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. I had a fantastic stay, however, and if you can handle stairs and want something a little more traditional to the other chain type hotels in Guildford you cannot go far wrong here.

Takes a little while for the hot water to make it around the pipes but then it does at my house too :)

Gorgeous historical property

We had the room with window onto the high st, which seemed great but was actually extremely noisy all night long (drunk young people yelling/ laughing right outside until maybe 4am)

Good location. Nicely appointed room and appreciated water and biscuits together with tea/coffee making facilities. Nice in house restaurant (Bills) although unfortunately I couldn’t hand around for Breakfast

The staff were amazing and the room was beautiful x
