The rooms are outstanding, clean spacious with big bathrooms

Excellent location in an historic building. A bit quirky to get down our room, but that’s because of the character of the old place. Charming room with lovely crown molding and other nice details. Coffee, teas and water were in the room.

Some night club noise, and I assume some rooms get more noise than others. We were ok with stairs, but it’s worth noting that there is no lift, and not only is there one main flight to go up, but then we had a few more short flights of 2-4 stairs.

The location and being a historic building, which has a lot of character

Running a shower or a bath was a nightmare! It tooke me ages to set the water at the right temperature and burned myself a few times beforehand. The taps as horrible to operate and being a historic building, the water supply was with a pump, which made it even more difficult to run the hot and cold water properly

Older style not a chain full of history

Bit noisy from the alleyway outside room in mornings. No handholds to get in and out of bath which is high or a shower mat

The location was central The room was spacious with its own sitting area Staff was excellent, very proffesional and helpful The building is beautiful with lovely decor We will come back

The window was on the high street side there was some noise during the night not as bad as expected The shower had really low pressure There was no air con
