It was a pleasant stay at Hotel Paradiso. We stayed for 2 Nights there. The manager was very supportive along with all staff members. The place is cit off from the hustle and bustle of the market. It gives you a calm atmosphere with a clear view of Mt. Kanchenjunga. Let's talk about food now. Well, it was excellent. Even price was quite reasonable as compared to other Hotels in the region.

The Hotel should have a clear policy about allowing alcoholic drinks in its premises. We had 2 rooms there. One at the ground floor and one on the first floor. There is an open terrace on first floor. We were passing time idly there. But then three boarders on the first floor started drinking alcohol openly in the evening. There didn't care about anybody's presence. I was also there with my family. My father left the place out of anger inspite of the wonderful view and find cold. My mother who loved to stay there and was enjoying the evening also followed my father. I went to the manager straightaway and objected but even he expressed sorry without doing anything. The two boarders were so loud even late at night that it was difficult to sleep for all of us. My point is that if the Hotel maintains a policy, such incidents would not have taken place. Though we had to endure an unpleasant evening for just one day, still I want the owner to maintain a policy so that someone's enjoyment would not become a headache for others.
