Beach front location

The property was on the beach front and close to all amenities, staff were friendly (especially James ) who helped us out either one of our issues.

The hotel is dirty on closer inspection. There was menstruation blood on one of the single beds, both on quilt and bottom sheet. There was a bag of cooked rice in one of the drawers in the dressing table, this indicates that the rooms are not being cleaned correctly. It was very hot during our stay ( which cost closer to £200 for one night) the hotel does not have air conditioning, leaving only windows for ventilation. I asked for a fan at reception and was told they do not have any. Would not stay there again !!

Location was very good and sea view was excellent, good breakfast, plenty of tea and coffee, staff member on reception was very nice and helpful.

only one small window which opened in the room on a very hot night, no fan provided, room was very dated, aertex ceilings, anaglypta wallpaper ripped in places, no hot water tap on bath, windows needed cleaning as did outside seating as it was full of bird mess. very small rear car park. lots of loud banging doors in the night.

Room was quite big, the shower was pretty good, Internet was quite fast.

Room 6 the partition wall was so thin.. I could hear next door turn on a light switch. Not impressed at all.

The room was so small it felt like it had been measured with a pessimistic ruler. Moving around required strategy, not comfort. The shower was even more ambitious in its minimalism. Very tiny, and somehow still not quite usable. I’m a skinny guy and still managed to question whether I was meant to shower or just symbolically acknowledge water exists. It wasn’t clean either, which added a certain “authentic experience” I did not ask for. The bed sheets came with visible mould, which is one way to ensure you don’t oversleep out of pure psychological discomfort. Sleep was technically available, but so was suspense. The price per night was impressive in the wrong direction. It managed to feel like I was paying for premium accommodation while staying in a practical joke. In the morning, the situation improved only in consistency. No coffee, no water, unless you signed up for the paid breakfast system. There was a vending machine, which raised hopes briefly, but it contained everything except water, which feels almost deliberate. The bar opened at 4:30 pm, so hydration and caffeine were officially an evening concept. Overall, it was a stay that really commits to its own philosophy: if comfort is available anywhere, it is not included.
