Risboro Hotel

When we arrived we was put in a room with a bath which was not suitable for myself and my 80 yr old mum . Thankfully they did manage to let us move The place is in need of updating . The food was nice with lovely staff . The hotel was pretty central .

Late check.in, was 8pm by the time we arrived, so didn't have a chance to check out the room. Very friendly staff and helpful. Went out for food and got back at 11pm. Got on the double bed to find there was a dent in one side which made the mattress sink. However we managed to adjust things and slept reasonably OK. The problem was we ran out of loo paper in the night. It was in a dispenser rather than on a roll so we couldn’t tell . However, we did only oay £79 for bed & breakfast, and the breakfast was lovely.

If your looking for Top spec forget it but if you want a cheap accomadation in good location comfy beds big light room nice breakfast Louise the waitress a marvel of information! Easy parking on roadside the Risboro ticks the box but be warned it has some teething problems creaky floorboards , hearing other guests walking past your room and small telly to name but a few but adds to the character of the place

A surprisingly good stay at this budget hotel. Excellent value for money and a great breakfast on offer as part of the stay. The hotel provides accomodation for those on limited budget and providing you are not expecting 5 star luxury you will not be disappointed.

Very clean, Friendly and helpful staff, seems to getting updated to a high standard. Good quality budget hotel. Only negative point is the booking in arrangement, only 1 hour allowed between 4pm and 5 pm

Staff were lovely , breakfast was basic not a lot of options. Room was dirty and wall paper and paint coming off the walls. Swimming pool was not working even though it says it was on the website it was.

Friendly helpful staff and fairly comfortable about what I’d expect for the low price. Hotel is dated and in dire need of a redurb

For the price it was good had a problem with the toilet flush but was replaced the next morning. Staff was very hard working very helpful entertainment was funny and good 😊 Lot's of low reviews that don't reflect on the place I would return if I ever go again

Staff and entertainment great. Location great. Room needs decorating and updating. Toilet and bathroom alful

I like the poperty staff were socialble but no wifi for kids bad signal when there was tv was proper small an only about 3 channels
