The Avatar Hotel & Convention

The location of the hotel was easily accessible and one of the receptionist was very kind and helpful. Out of 2 rooms we had booked, 1 room was very neat and clean.

We booked two rooms. One room was clean and tidy wherein the other room (no.119) was stinking from washroom sink. The smell was spread to the whole room. We had asked the reception to clean the room by the time we come back, but it wasn't cleaned. The shower area is too slippery, difficult to use also. One of my family members did fall down coz of this issue! And there was no hair dryer in the washroom, which is a basic amenity in a 4 star hotel. Also the whole night, we could hear people walking outside the room in the walkway and the sound of door being closed and opened in the other rooms. Not at all worth of a price we paid for.

The hotel has many grades of rooms. We were in an Alcove room which was very clean and comfortable with a decent size bed with a firm mattress. Breakfast was included.

Breakfast was in The Loft close to reception. A variety of buffet dishes were available, the cooked items being mostly cold. One has to be choosy when deciding what to eat. There's also an omelette, dosa cooked to order service which served warmish food. Fruit etc also there.

This property is in a nice convenient location. Staffs are friendly. Namratha from Housekeeping was excellent with her service. Nithisha from the restaurant and stairway cafe is very polite and good in her service

Food at the loft restaurant inside the hotel is not good

Nice room with AC, fan and rain shower. Restaurant is great and the cocktail bar is the best in town. Good location within the city.

Can be loud when there is a happening at the venue above. But parties will stop at midnight.

The iron, the water kettle were not working. The shower was leaking. The room service wud take too long to take the calls so wud housekeeping. Mr. Shubham at the desk was extremely efficient and helpful. This was the saving grace. Food at the restaurant was good. Room otherwise was good.
