The Avatar Hotel & Convention

They had some party going on at their banquet hall. The music was so loud that it shook the whole building. Music started from the afternoon and it went on for the whole night. Didn’t get any sleep whatsoever. Worst hotel stay that i had ever experienced.

Difficult to find. Get ready to explore where their reception is - no boards to inform ppl where to go as the actual hotel is on the 2nd floor - no one at the ground floor to tell you where to go. The alcove rooms have no windows at all, you don’t realise this until u check in physically. Staff extremely rude - no one will greet even at reception, no one will smile, no general manners. Rooms are ok - clean enough, no slippers provided in alcove rooms. Food is good - perhaps the only plus.

Nice new, modern and clean hotel well placed for sightseeing in this vibrant city. Very friendly and helpful staff . Very good breakfast e ad nd we also ate at the in house vegetarian restaurant which was excellent . All in all would recommend this hotel to anyone padding through Mangalore.

Non intrusive nature of staff respecting orivacy..honesty of reception staff, prompt and attentive room service...excellent in dining arangment..well connected

The temperature control was not steady and study table furniture leg was getting easily dislodged...interiors can be improved...
