"Chaotic experience"

The host did not seem to expect my arrival. After explaining I already had a booking he called his wife to check their app, and saw it was indeed so. When being showed the room I was informed that there was no heating or hot water. I was told this was unforseen, but later noticed a review some weeks before my visit also mentions this issue. I highly recommend that you avoid this hotel in it's current state.

good location for a local wine festival we were attending, therefore spent limited time in the room other than sleeping. It met our needs. can't comment on breakfast or facilities as not used during our stay. Lots of local car parks so easy to find parking nearby

strange reception on arrival and no one available at check out as lady questioned our booking from our paperwork, without first checking the booking on their system. Leave time is 10am but no one available on sunday morning at 10- Luckily we had pre-paid as we couldn't access reception area on leaving. sign on door says opens at 1130 am!
