"Welcoming hotel, with great food."

Friendly staff, great location, very nice food.

The room was a little dated, but the hotel is under new management and I believe it is being updated.

Delicious breakfast. Good selection. Great bathroom. Plenty of hot water. Comfortable bed. Very pleasant staff.

"A great hotel with lots of character."

the last time I stayed there was in 1951, 2 weeks before I left to live in Australia. I was a 16 year old. Amazingly, on this occasion I was given the same room! So lots of fond memories.

bloody freezing until you turn on the heaters in the room. should have been on prior to our arrival
