La Maison du Bassin

The house in itself is rich of charme and atmosphere, the location is perfect, our room was a tiny one but lovely. unfortunately we had no chance to try the restaurant that looked very good but...the plus was from the 2 young (boy and girl) at the reception. They have been so smiling and familiar that we bring back in our hearts. Grazie, Micaela and Bob

Lovely rustic charm and decor with very comfy beds and Linen and nice soaps. The restaurant in evening served us excellent local food and the staff were superb. I imagine it would be a fabulous place off season in the colder weather as it is quite cosy. Lovely touches to keep the authentic charm and the restauarnat and terrace were very pretty with original stone floors and glass fronted parlour doors.

The room was small with only a view of a roof and with no aircon in a heatwave it was a little sufforcating at night. Nowhere really to relax in the hotel as room was not big enough. There was an indoor public bar area with pool table so felt like hotel was only for eating and sleeping. A small private terrace for guests would have been nice. I am a celiac so the breakfast was not adequate as all bread and croissants. I paid extra for 2 very runny boiled eggs and coffee so dissapointed with that. Some fruit and cheese/meat would have been a lovely addition for those avoiding gluten as not much to eat.

Receptionist was smiley but could not or would not speak a word in Spanish or English. The room was nicely decorated but very small. Location and breakfast service was OK.

Just a lovely, cute hotel with a great bar and restaurant

Location 10/101 Staff 10/10 easy to park and access to the room was perfect especially given we have dogs and had requested an accessible room. All very good. The bar on site was excellent too although it's a shame it doesn't open earlier or all day.

Neither my husband nor I are good without caffeine in the morning ;) There are no coffee or tea making facilities in the room so we had to get dressed early and go out to find a coffee shop. We couldn't wait until breakfast opened at 08h30. Also it would have been nice to make a cup of tea before bed so this was disappointing. Whilst the room is really lovely you do feel like you need to be constantly out as there is no radio or tv (not that we're mad tv watchers, but just like some background noise) and no kettle or fridge.
