Love the facilities

There was a very loud disco going on opposite my window which sadly kept me awake. It finished at 11, but I was getting up at 5;30 so I was disappointed that I couldn't get an early night. I have also come home with what looks a bit like bed bug bites. I'm not certain but it is a coincidence and this was the only hotel I had stayed in

The croissants & pains au chocolat were delicious.

The hot breakfast buffet was disappointing. The food was tepid at best and was tired/dry/over done. The bedroom was too hot because the radiator was on. The shower controls fell apart when touched. The shower screen did not stop the water flowing over the floor. I had booked a “king” - the room was tiny. When I checked in the receptionist said that I had a standard double. When I questioned the size of the room at checkout, the next receptionist was adamant that it was a king. So the room here overnight!

staff were brilliant, very helpful, but also really friendly and chatty.

The temperature in the rooms......the main area of the hotel was fine, but as soon as you walked through the doors to the rooms it was like walking into a sauna.
