Food was amazing both breakfast and dinner All staff very friendly and helpful The people in room opposite to mine had TV on very loud the 1st night, spoke to staff member and he sorted it out for me and checked later to see if everything was okay and that was happy

The staff were very helpful and friendly . The breakfast was very nice a genuinely enjoyable experience

The room had no view at all it would’ve been nice to look out and see something

Das Restaurant ist super lecker und sehr hochwertig. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit.

Zum Teil nicht sauber (z. B. Kaffeemaschine dreckig, Toilettenbrille mit Schlieren, Toilettenbürste braun von Vorgängern). Kein Föhn auf dem Zimmer. Beim Frühstück kann man nur ein Gericht auswählen (z. B. bekommt man bei den Pancakes zwei Stück). Alles andere muss bezahlt werden.

The hotel building and location itself are beautiful as it was thoughtfully designed at the time and the forest park close by is amazing and continues to expand. I will also say the staff are very much trying to provide a good service, particularly in the restaurant. I've stayed here before, dined here befpre and been to the bar and it was great, hence our repeat and longer stay.

Everything I raise here is easily fixable: 1. Cleanliness - A good hoover and mopping of the common areas such as the stairs, hallways and restaurant. It is very visibly dirty 2. Servicing of the rooms - If you are staying 1-2 nights you can manage without servicing but beyond that its too much to ask of guests. We had to request a sign to get our room serviced, hung is up before 10am and all they did was empty 1 bin, and add a toilet roll. Bed not made, glasses or cups not changed, towels left 3. Restaurant - Some of the food was good, the turkey, the desserts but the fry in morning is inedible, as was the soup, the coffee it undrinkable (jist charge people for a proper americano if you have to), we were paying for lunch and still got a filter coffee! 4. Staff - Staff just look tired, overworked and as a result disengaged. It would be worth talking to the staff about what they need to be successful because its quite deflating for a customer to interact with tired, worn out staff. Overall, I understand cost to run a business has increased but I would pay more to have these small things addressed as it was great and has potential to be amazing once again 🙂
