Great hotel, modern, clean, great staff who gave us great tips about local things to do and see. Free parking right outside or just across the street. Would highly recommend.

Can't think of anything! Only thing I'd say is the restaurant is a bit on the expensive side, but to be honest it was very high quality, so worth every penny.

The efficiency of Lorna on reception. We had travel difficulties on our trip and she made sure we could access our room after normal hours....she even made a video to provide guidance on how we could reach the room using the mobility scooter. This was excellent customer service and was much appreciated. Excellent breakfasts

The hotel had difficulty in providing a purpose built stool to be used in the shower. Might I suggest such stools are available for customers with mobility issues who are not in mobility friendly rooms

Beautiful boutique hotel conveniently situated close to the the entrance of of Castlewellan Forest Park and at the heart of the town with a range of pubs and great places to eat . A great location as a base to explore the Mournes from. Staff were so helpful and the breakfast was amazing ! Loved the decor of the hotel and bedrooms . Highly recommend a stay at the Hillyard !
