The room was lovely clean and stylish The staff were very friendly and helpful

Everything was good except for one very serious incident.

We stayed here for two nights and specifically asked at the reception that our room not be cleaned. The receptionist replied, "Of course." However, in the morning (not on the eve of departure), at about 9:00 a.m., a male hotel employee unlocked the door of our room with his own key without knocking or warning. At that moment, I was just coming out of the bathroom, completely naked. Fortunately, I heard someone approaching the door in time and managed to close it almost completely so that I wouldn’t be seen. Otherwise, he would have entered the room while I was undressed. This was completely unacceptable and a serious violation of my privacy. Hotel staff should never enter an occupied room without knocking and waiting for a response.

The resort was lovely, the food good and the staff excellent. We even used the driving range and we don't even play golf. Just a really relaxing time and only 2 miles from Bovington tank museum

Not the resorts fault but was incredibly hot when we stayed and so the rooms were stifling. Air conditioning would be good but I'd still stay again

The room whilst having everything in it we needed and was clean it was dark and overlooked a lane and large hedge. The weather was very hot and the building seemed to absorb a lot of heat but had no air con, our room was unbearably hot, we had a fan which made little difference. The breakfast was overall very disappointing one of us is wheat and gluten free and the choice was awful. Overall the worst breakfast offerings in the hotels we have stayed at over the past few years and we have stayed at many. On the first morning there was one large orange in the fruit bowl and tinned prunes in a bowl and small packs of cereals. When I asked if there was any gluten free cereal I was told the Cornflakes probably were. On the second day we asked of some cut fruit and were given a bowl containing some pineapple and about four grapes. The bread was basic brown or white sliced no croissants, pastries or other offerings. The hot buffet was available but the quality was very poor and overall little care was taken over it. Whilst accepting the venue is a golf club the loud music played during breakfast did not give a relaxing or pleasant ambience.

Convenience for golfing and bowling. Friendly, helpful staff. Rooms very clean.

Sound proofing not great. Noisy water heaters in showers audible in adjacent rooms. Views over driving range certainly quirky. Best to opt for other side of hotel.

Disable facilities were very good. Lots of hand rails and shower seat in bathroom, non slip flooring. Beds comfortable. Staff helpful and friendly. Dinners were very good and reasonable price.

Poor water pressure. As ground floor room, window had to be closed when not there, could do with safety latch especially at night.

The location is great and the breakfast was delicious. The customer service was also excellent.

The room lacked an air conditioner. On our arrival, the day was extremely hot and there was only a single table fan in the room which was not enough to cool us down . This made it difficult to sleep that night.

Breakfast was almost v v good but some of the food was only just warm.
