Pine Hill Arms Hotel

Quiet

Contactless check-in. No greeter. Did Not feel hospitable nor welcoming. The twin beds creaked badly. The floor was dusty and dirty under the beds. I had allergies and didn’t know where it was coming from.

Clean and comfortable. The mountain views and good location for hiking.

Bar and restaurant appear to be permently closed. Exterior a little run down, not as in photos on Yelp

They were helpful and friendly when I called.

Beds were very comfortable. Nice toiletries.

* The restaurant was closed. Judging by other reviews, it had been closed for a while. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT AT BOOKING.COM in the "DINING EXPERIENCE" paragraph. They really should update their booking.com description. * No coffee in room, at 7 am they offered coffee from a coffee machine in the now-closed restaurant section. * Aside from that, extremely tiny room, there was not even a space for the hotel towels - which is why in the photos, the towels show placed on the bed. That is the only possible space !. So, way below what one might expect in a hotel that is outside NYC or outside the European country side. * The floor of the bathroom, and to some degree the room, was very sloped. Expect an old building with narrow stair ways and corridors. * There was no "check in", no person at reception. Old style Metal Keys had been placed in envelopes matching the guest names. For around $170 USD after tax in October .. this place fails many expectations. A few days later in our trip, we stayed at the hotel in Andes, about 25 minutes west on US28, and that was significantly better, much more spacious rooms, and they didn't lie about having a working restaurant, and they were about the same price.

Not clean at all. Decided to not even spend the night and chose to drive home 6 hours overnight as we could not sleep there.

Cute, cozy rooms. Love the communal rooms on the first floor and the fireplace!

Didn't like that I had to leave.
