К сожалению, слонов, на потеху проживающих, приводят насильно, некоторых на цепи приковывают в реке, у провожатых есть острые копья, которые они не скрывают, для управления слонами, это просто жуть, приезжать сюда снова и смотреть на всё это нет никакого желания!

Such a fabulous location to view the elephants in the river and the food in the restaurant was great too.

Tidy, clean apartment. Very comfortable. We went for a dinner which was quite good.

Maybe it was our naïveté to think that elephants visiting the hotel periodically each day is something about elephants liking the place. It’s a entertainment made for tourist that can’t be done without pointy sticks and yelling - maybe some people will appreciate this for a nice image with elephant. But those creatures are wild, better to see them in their natural habitat.

During our stay at the hotel, we were taken care of by the activity manager Andrew, who was very friendly and helped us to find our way around Sri Lanka on our first day. We had absolute trust in him, as he often gave us good advice on how to have a good time in Sri Lanka. I hope we will meet again in the future.

The location was perfect. Right at the Elephant Bathing Spot. The staff was really nice.

Rooms are not only dated, but was well not well maintained. Only surface cleaning is happening, no deep clean, with mold in multiple places. Recommend replacing cleaning crew and maintenance as significant changes can be achieved with very little investment (such as deep clean and a bit of white paint).
