The Bygone

This is an excellent value boutique hotel, located within easy reach of the main sights, city centre and some great restaurants. The airport is an easy 15 minute Grab taxi ride away . The contact and welcome from the reception staff was very good. Our room was absolutely spotless, well appointed and such a comfortable bed!. We stayed five nights, it was very quiet and secluded. We used this hotel as a base for trips to across the city, and had a relaxing swim in the afternoons. Some great local restaurants were available within walking distance. The hotel food and breakfast was excellent. We had a take away tiffin box for the sunrise visit to Ankor Watt, a nice little touch. This Thee hotel is highly recommended. Thankyou, we’ll be back

Colazione internazionale più che accettabile. Darei maggior scelta per una colazione tipica italiana. Servizio ristorante, più che buono. Ne abbiamo usufruito sia per un pranzo che per una cena (pioveva troppo per spostarsi)

La posizione, per quanto non centrale permette con una breve camminata di raggiungere negozi, ristoranti e altri servizi. Peccato che la strada che collega alla via principale non sia asfaltata e con la pioggia diventa un pantano di terra rossa e pozzanghere profonde. Non credo sia una mancanza dell'hotel, ma non è sicuramente un punto a favore

One of the loveliest boutique hotels that we have stayed in on our 2 months of travels. The staff were so wonderful and made you so so welcome. It felt like home. We loved Cambodia too and all the lovely people we met. Gorgeous spacious room (we had a free upgrade as they were quiet) and beautiful pool outside. Lovely restaurant with the most delicious food. What makes it so special is that it is a social enterprise and it was lovely to be able to give a little something back. Will go back to Cambodia just to stay here again!

Owners were around at check in and often other times and were more than happy to recommend things to do and organise rides for us. All the staff were so lovely and helpful. The breakfast and pool were both really great! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!

Great location away from the busy roads but still near the center. The room was clean and very spacious. The owners and staff were very helpful, just great!

Property was beautiful, clean, organised and well managed. The staff were friendly, helpful and sent the extra mile with suggestions and assistance with transport and bookings. Breakfasts, which were included were delicious, fresh and a great start to the day

We stayed for 9 nights as we loved it so much. The staff are brilliant, so friendly and can't do enough for you. The breakfast is really good and substantial. We also ate dinner here a number of times which is freshly prepared, tasty and good value. The Bygone is linked to a charity and the profits from the cafe go to the charity. We also were impressed with the environmental considerations with refill water provided in glass bottles and newspaper in the bins instead of plastic bags. The location is quiet and just a 15 minute walk from the centre or a 5 minute tuk tuk ride. We cannot recommend this place highly enough. A real home from home.
