Dinner was lovely, wine selection was great. Room was lovely and spacious and very clean. Breakfast was also lovely

Service was good, all staff friendly and helpful. Room serviced and cleaned nicely. Room facilities good iron and board included . Bath and shower excellent. Help with luggage as no lift. Breakfast buffet good with good range of fruit. Poached eggs very good.

Bacon kept warm and therefore dried out. Sloping floor in bedroom meant bed - otherwise fine _ also sloped.

- flexible with early check-in as room was ready - comfortable bed

- some areas look a little tired and could do with a lick of paint

Lovely comfortable super king bed, large room and TV. Bath and shower combined with toiletries. Good selection of teas, coffees and hot chocolate. Friendly helpful staff, a great location with parking.

Restaurant service a bit slow at times forgotten order items, but quickly rectified.

The location was great. Lots to do nearby. Restaurants and shops all walkable. Very good parking. The staff were very polite and friendly and elevated the place. They were all warm friendly people and helpful.

Unfortunately we happened to stay on a Friday when there was live music. The music was extremely loud, having spent a long day out and about we wanted to just relax in the room before bed. However the music was so loud as to drown out the TV and furniture vibrating! This went on slightly past 11. This was then followed by people outside who hung around chatting and laughing. Without any aircon we had to have the window open so we had all this noise until gone 11:30. It would have been nice to have known before booking that this is what was planned for Fridays. If it had stopped at 10 we would have been ok with it but keeping it going until 11 was too much! Another disappointment was no mixer tap on the sink. The hot water was really very hot so trying to use was difficult. Overall Youngs needs to refurb the place as there is clear wear and tear that needs to be fixed.
