Villa 73 Unawatuna

Best accomodation and best hosts ever. We are so grateful to be your gests! Everything was just perfect. Perfect room, very clean, quiet, in European style. I did not see such rooms even in few times more expensive hotels in Unawatuna. Excellent breakfasts! We also enjoyed some specialties cooked by the hosts and it is so important when you feel like at home. They even gave as a present, a wooden elefant before our departure. We definitely recommend this place for everybody who comes to Unawatuna. 10 out of 10!

The staff are absolutely amazing from start to finish and very attentive. The owners are lovely people and make you feel as though you are at home. Rooms are spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The bath tubs are a really nice added bonus. The location is perfect, 10 minutes to the main road and quiet at night times so we could catch up on some rest.

We enjoyed everything about our stay and would highly recommend. It's great value for money.

The staff were amazing and so friendly, couldn’t do enough for us! We had rented a tuk tuk and they helped us loads with it. It’s in a good location, around a 15 min walk from lots of restaurants.

Design is cool, staff are very nice, breakfast is tasty.

Only accept cash payment. In order to pay, I need to transfer money from bank account directly, which cost me almost half the total price on the service fee.

Location was very good, staff was very helpful. Breakfast was more than enough & very fresh.

Only problem we had was which the hotel couldn’t really help with was the neighbouring dog would bark from 6am onwards constantly.

The location was great

The host turned very hostile with us! Our checkout date was Saturday, though we wanted to move out on Friday. She did not let our driver come in, shouted at my friend, decided to hold my luggage hostage until we got her the payment (in cash completely), and blamed us for breaking a lock - which we didn't even know about. It turned crazy that Friday.

The hosts were tremendous. They took care of us, prepared wonderful breakfast and were extremely kind. Our room was clean, big enough and had an awesome whirlpool.

We weren’t able to open the windows/doors and it was very loud at times. Location could have been a little better. But only small things.
