Villa 73 Unawatuna

We stayed two nights and from the moment we arrived we felt at home and cozy. The hotel rooms were very clean with comfortable beds + the included breakfast of eggs, sausages, fruits and more was sensational. The hosts/staff are also very down to earth and were attentive with any request we had.

It wasn’t as nice as the pictures looked. The bed was very uncomfortable and we had cockroaches and other bugs in the room.

The room was beautifully decorated and the bathroom was incredible. Like none I’ve seen in Sri Lanka for the price you pay! The breakfast was huge and with so much variety. I will definitely be staying here again and I will be recommending it to my friends too :)

Located near the best parts of Unawatuna. Easy access to eating, shopping and beaches within 15mins, 20 mins close to Galle as well. Staff are the most hospitable and accomodating, made the stay more than worth it beyond the affordable accommodation. Room was big, clean and comfortable - the two person bathtub was a plus. Overall staff were very good, kind and helpful people. Samo and team are top notch hosts. Breakfast with the room booking also was prepared from the heart.

Facilities could be a bit better, our booked room had an issue with the bathroom door being a little too hard to open and close. Entry lane to the villa is big enough for a car but narrow but that's not something that can be fixed. Nothing much not to like about this place.
