Was absolutely fantastic! The cats there were friendly and sweet and happy to be interacted with. The owner showed us around the hotel and even drove us to the train station and the ferry. He waved us off as we left! Every aspect of the hotel exceeded any possible expectations. I will be noting the hotel to ensure I visit again in the future! Truly I wish the room cost more so I could give more to the fantastic people there. I can't recommend enough. I do wish I remembered to bring them an omiyage from Cat Island. As for speaking English, he used a translator during his interactions, so communication is no worry.

Truly an amazing experience! The property is great and decked out in cat themed decor. The host went way above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Drove us to the ferry to visit Tashirojima and picked us up upon return. Made us a delicious meal on our second night. Even offered and drove us to the train station when we checked out. We were nervous about our very limited Japanese language skills and while his English was also limited, communication via google translate made it easy. Other highlights; Free Bike rental - We biked to the nearby Manga Museum and back which was wonderful as well. The attached cat room is a delight and at 19:00 we got to help feeding them. So cute and playful. There are even a few outdoor cats that the hosts feed and care for. One in particular very vocally greeted us each time we came or went from the second building with the bikes and other amenities. This was the highlight of our honeymoon so far and it will be hard to top. If you plan to come to this area for the Cat island or Museum you MUST stay here! I only wish I could rate higher than 10.

I ended up checking in close to 10, owner was understanding about the delay. Showed me around hotel- cafe nextdoor open until 1am has 10+ cats to pat! There’s bicycles to use and free wine too. If you’re going to cat island next morning owner will drive you to ferry port and pick you up after the ferry ride/drop you off at ishinomaki station. Also took us to a bakery where he bought us each a bread for lunch. Highly recommend

Kitty room was so fun and the hospitality was very appreciated. The owners took such great care of us taking us from the hotel to the cat island ferry and then to the train station. Breakfast was the best ever so many little dishes of amazing food.

The room was very clean and nice, the design contained a lot of cats' images. The blanket was super warm. The host gave me a lift to the ferry in the morning

I was a little confused with the program, which the host had had prepared. It was nice, of course, but it also felt like pressure from time to time. The fridge worked with some sounds

Very friendly cat loving hotel. The place to stay when visiting Cat Island. The owners are a delight and will drive you to the Cat Island ferry and then even pick you up!
