THURU VILLA

A beautiful building that immediately puts you in the right mood and allows you to feel the atmosphere of the island.

It was the perfect location to arrive in SriLanka. The connection to the train station is super near. The place is super lovely - green view, cosy and clean. Stuff was also really nice and I can definitely recommend it.

My stay was perfect and relaxing. The owners were super friendly, and super helpful. Aircon and wifi were solid. Breakfast was brought whenever I was ready, and served with a smile. The pool was clean, and great for a dip if I didn't want to head to the beach. Many options for dining nearby, and location is nice and quiet. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

No complaints about anything.

i asked previously for late check in and they agreed on that, but after a long trip and on arriving time no one was there; the doors were all closed and no one picked the phone. kept waiting for more than 1 hr, then had to leave in the middle of the night and find another place. so unprofessional

The owner and his family are very warm, polite, loving , to any question and help. The place is in a great location. not too far from airport, 10 minutes walk from supermarket, and main Street. The neighborhood is very pretty and safe to be and to walk. The property is designed as a place I even didn’t see in any magazines. Every detail have a thought behind it. Everything have a touch for details and comfort. Local art, and one of a kind items. There are sitting areas near the rooms and on the roof, beautiful trees, lights spots on every place on the way to your room and sitting area on main floor, so you can have the ambiance you wish. Room have super comfortable bed and pillows, charging spot on the wall for the phone which already have the option to adjust to your county plug. Rooms are colorful, soft and happy decorated. Everything you need and more, when you are far from home.

This was the worst accommodation I have ever slept in. The sheets were filthy.There were no decent blankets to sleep on.There was hair all over the bathroom from the guests who had slept in the room before.It was not cleaned. When we confronted the hotel owner we were offered another room.This room was in the same condition.After consulting the hotel owner we cancelled the hotel via Booking and left the same night at 1am and went to another hotel. When I confronted Booking.com about how a hotel can get such a good rating I was told that Booking.com can't influence that. very bad service also from Booking.com.

Staff and accomodation were amazing. Also the airport Pick Up was Well organized.

Quirky place which is a pleasure to stay at with amazing settings everywhere you look and the hospitality from the owner and manager was second to none, really great guy and so so helpful!

I had no problems at all.
