Kefalonia Bay Palace

Everything about this place is paradise! We booked a standard room with sea view, but on arrival we were upgraded to a villa with private pool. This was a lovely surprise which we were very thankful for. The views are spectacular and we felt at peace and very relaxed the whole time. They gave us complimentary drinks and a bottle of wine and generally went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The hotel manager, Apostolia, was delightful and really did everything to make our stay perfect. Breakfast was consistently good every morning and had something for everyone. The staff were friendly and always welcomed you. The bed was comfortable, good AC. The location is great and there are lots of great restaurants 5/10 mins walk away. We would recommend agia effimia as a fab place to base yourself in kefalonia and this is the place to stay. I would definitely stay here again and have recommended it to my friends and family.

Beautiful views, exceptionally clean. Just a perfect stay after a week sailing, everything was perfect, but mostly all of the staff could not have been more kind or helpful, especially the manager. Perfect, thank you 🤗

We received upon arrival an upgrade to a villa. Was very clean, good service and plenty of space. Staff and breakfast are excellent.

You need a good condition to walk up and down the hill the hotel is build against. Especially parking is a challenge at the top of the hotel.

We had an amazing stay at the Kefalonia Bay Palace hotel. It is in a beautiful location in Agia Effimia just a short walk from the restaurants and harbour. The hotel itself is elevated and has the most amazing views. We stayed in a villa with a private pool but the sea view rooms are just as good. The hotel has been recently renovated and is spotlessly clean. The staff really made our stay. From the manager to the reception staff and waiters we had such a friendly welcome it was like a home from home. Breakfast had a large variety of options and the terrace overlooking the sea was a fantastic backdrop. We also had dinner there which is a different set menu daily and we couldn’t fault it. We will definitely return.

Our second stay here after a decade and it was truly unforgettable! The property itself is stunning, perfectly located in one of the most breathtaking parts of the island, surrounded by incredible views, peaceful atmosphere, and authentic Greek charm! What made the experience even more special was the kindness of the staff and management. Every single person went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, comfortable, and cared for throughout our stay. Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality created such a relaxing and memorable experience ♥️ It is rare to find a place where both the location and the people are equally exceptional. We left with wonderful memories and cannot wait to return. Highly recommended to anyone looking for beauty, tranquility, and truly outstanding hospitality.
