"Cheap but better to give it a miss..."

Bed was comfortable. Good hot shower with strong water pressure.

Room was dirty: Last guest's curly pubic hair on the toilet seat, hairs stuck on tiles in the shower, mouldy grout in the shower, toilet doesn't flush properly and still had loo paper from previous guests. Cutlery was dirty, no detergent to re-wash it with. No wifi. Bad sound proofing, could hear EVERYTHING from next door. Noisy neighbours till after 11pm. Light fittings directly above the beds were covered in dust and cobwebs. Heaps of insects in the room due to the back door not completely closing (locked but there's still a 1cm gap...) - heaps of flying ants, flies, and a couple of big spiders got in. No soap. Freezer hasn't been defrosted for years... Veiling light had exposed live wires...

Handy to be able to walk over to the pub for dinner.

Being near the pub with lots of noise. The TV was stuck on one channel.
