The Time Hotel

The Time hotel is situated in a small side road within easy walking distance of the beach area and eating places. Some of the staff were helpful whilst others not. There was only one of the two lifts that were working but this did not prove to be inconvenient. The rooms in this new hotel were novel with separate toilet and shower, with the wash basin situated within the room itself. The bed was of super King size and very comfortable. There was also the customary tea, coffee etc. No complaints whatsoever with the room and it’s city view.

The buffet style breakfast was extremely poor. The choice of food was very limited and not well presented. On the first morning we tried the breakfast and it was very poor. Second morning we ate outside to enjoy good food. The third we tried again and left most as it was so awful, deciding to eat outside. The staff in the dining area seemed more occupied with their mobile phones than looking after the guests. If I return there again I would for sure not take the breakfast as I normally enjoy good Vietnamese food.

Quite disappointing, hotel room was fine. Bit unpractical but the hotel is dirty. Rooms and common areas are really not clean. Also there was broken glass around the pool and staff was not hospitable. They do not greet you when walking in. Breakfast was buffet, it was OK.

I must pay for the small towel that the hotel claims is missing. it does not make any sense and makes me very very angry, it looks like I stole their small towel. It was a very bad experience. My job is to travel a lot and you can see my booking record, it never happened before but with this hotel they said I must pay 70.000 VND extra for missing a small towel. 1. On the first day they gave me 3 big towels and 2 small towels. I use only 1 big towel and 1 small towel. 2. The next day I went to work and requested them to clean the room. I believe the room keeper took 1 big towel and 1 small towel and did not fill up the new one. Today When I checked out they asked me to pay 70.000 for the missing towel. I want to claim this issue,

Location and good price

The Staff didn't speak english. The breakfast wasn't buffet. It was empty.

Good location, only 4 minute walk to the ocean front. Most of the staff was friendly, got free water and fresh towels everyday. Free beach towels at the reception. The room was very spacious and the bed extraordinarily large.

Some communication issues with the staff. The safe in our room did not work when we checked-in, so we kindly asked for a technician to fix it. They assured us they would send someone as soon as possible but when we came back in the evening, nothing has happened and we needed to claim it to another receptionist again. The room smelled a bit mouldy. There is no gym, just a treadmill and a stepper. Breakfast was semi nice and mostly meat.

Beautiful, new hotel. Rooftop pool was lovely.

Location good

I paid extra for a high floor. There was no hot water available on the high floors as confirmed by the cleaning staff. my family made-do with cold showers that were very low pressure. I also felt a little claustrophobic in the room. Very squeezed in feeling with no study desk. No room to move which would be okay for singles/couples but not for travellers with children. There was also no view at all, just the side of a concrete building some 3 metres from our bedroom window and shower window, and we had to keep the blinds drawn for privacy so the room felt like we were living in a basement.
