Breakfast was great. Luis and his family were very friendly and helpful with recommendations.

The team were incredibly kind and helpful. We loved the mirador and saw a toucan in the morning. Playing table tennis and snooker was fun too.

We visited for one night at a quiet time of year, not many other guests. The host was very nice, helpful and knowledgeable about the different birds (despite our limited Spanish). He cooked us a great breakfast. The room was large, rustic but clean and comfortable. We loved meeting the dogs too.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Only breakfast on site but they ordered and picked up dinner food at a local restaurant for us. 30 min drive from Guayabo national monument. Great view from our deck, saw a keel billed toucan from the deck in the morning.

Limited room for luggage in the room. The bathroom was small but the shower was good sized and plenty of warm water. The road to it was rough, like most of the places we stayed in Costa Rica, but the intermediate rent a car made it there fine.
