Beautiful!! The photos really don’t do this place justice. The pool, the lush garden right in front of the small river, the spacious light room - we literally said “wow” out loud when we arrived at this place. Also the host is so friendly and made us the best veggie curries and a delicious breakfast was waiting for us when we came back from our safari. We can really recommend staying here!

Really only a small detail: it would be nice to have a Moskito net above the bed so it’s possible to sleep with the windows open and without the AC

The owner of this place is welcoming. He fulfilled our wishes. He ordered a taxi, prepared dinner on request, gave recommendations. We used the swimming pool every day, because it is good for fitness swimming. Some people consider the swimming pool to be dirty. We cannot agree, because we saw, how they clean it every day (sometimes there are fallen leafs, but the water is not dirty). The breakfast is very delicious. If you are there for a longer time, you get variable breakfast. Contact and price for safari was good as well. We recommend this place for the whole weekend or more days, because it is great for relax. They also offer spa treatments. Unfortunately we didn't try, but it must be good.

Guest house top. Au calme avec petit jardin verdoyant et piscine. Chambre familiale très grande et agréable. Propre tres bonne literie avec tout le nécessaire de toilette. Petit déjeuner très bon. Sortie en Jeep sur le parc d’Udawalawe en passant par l'hôtel très bien aussi.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely guesthouse. It’s a family-run business, and the pride the hosts take in creating a comfortable experience really shines through. The place was spotless and clearly well looked after. What made it even better was how smoothly everything ran — they organised an early morning safari to the nearby National Park for us, and it was seamless from start to finish. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a convenient and welcoming place to complement your safari adventure. The warmth of the hosts and the care really made our trip extra special.

Property ground Well maintained. The pool looks out to a peaceful canal. The grounds are clear of debris and well lit in the evening. Rooms Very clean and spacious. A/C and ceiling fan keep the room cool. Leisure area Safe and clean. Maintained daily. Meals Delicious!!! Was there for Sinhala Tamil New Year and owners prepared traditional holiday breakfast. It was lovely. So kind of them to share this with guest. Staff Very helpful and polite.

Twin matress in room was very uncomfortable. I sleep on my side and had a hip soar for 2 days :-(
