Vimanra Udawalawa

This was an amazing oasis of calm and serenity. The owner was so kind, he organised our safari in Udawalawe for us and onward transport. He also cooked an amazing dinner for us and lunch the next day after our safari and was happy for us to stay and use the pool. The room was so clean and and beautiful , so much space! My son who loves fishing was able to fish in the lake too with a rod provided by the owner. Dont even consider anywhere else, stay here !!!

It’s very tranquil, serene and beautiful with a lovely pool The family room was great for us travelling as a family with three young kids The owner was responsive and kind and organised had a really enjoyable safari. Saw lots of elephants, birds and some crocs. The kids also enjoyed the Elephant Transit Home (orphanage nearby). We booked last minute, as we wanted to change to our itinerary include some elephants and some more relaxation and I’m glad we did. Good value for money. The food was very good too. Thank you

Schöne Anlage und Garten, abends alles sehr nett beleuchtet, sauberer schöner Pool. Etwas abseits, nicht viel drum herum. Wir haben dort gegessen, eine Auswahl an klassischen guten Currys. Safari übers Hotel organisiert (17k) sehr netter Guide der keine Mühen gescheut hat, wir waren sogar 1Std länger unterwegs.

A small little hidden gems and paradise aside the main roads from Udawalawe. Reds only to accept credit cards and renewal of the sunbed beddings.

Vi havde en enkelt overnatning med aftensmad og morgenmad som var lavet af gode råvarer. Værten havde arrangeret morgen safari og efterfølgende transport til Ella.

Ein wundervoller Ort zum erholen! Absolut ruhig mit wunderschönem Garten und großem Pool, Zimmer sehr schön und alles tiptop! Superleckeres Frühstück und auch Abendesssen in tollem Ambiente. Der Besitzer ist total hilfsbereit und freundlich, hat uns viel Infos gegeben und alles (Safari, Besuch des Elefant Transit Home, Weiterfahrt) für uns organisiert. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Le cadre est idyllique, calme, au bord d’un lac et au milieu de la végétation tropicale et à deux pas du safari Udawalawe (qu’il faut absolument faire!!! Superbe safari) ! Nous avions pris une chambre pour 3 personnes et elle était spacieuse, très propre et tout était confortable (vue sur la superbe piscine en supplément) Notre hôte était très gentil et au petit soin! N’hésitez surtout pas à réserver. Ce fut notre hôtel favoris sur nos 2 semaines de voyage. Merci encore pour tout !!
