La Buena Vibra Wellness Resort & Spa

The location of the resort is really nice. It is located close to the mountains and offers stunning views from various parts of the resort and also from a few rooms. During the night the birds and other animals can be heard beautifully and provide you with a sense of truly being in nature. I have also taken a two hour Ayurveda treatment, which was extremely well and professionally done.

The hotel is simply overpriced and the rooms very much outdated. Just a few examples: the showerheads we’re clocked and only released partially the water, the bathroom has not seen a renovation since a long time, the balcony only has two chairs there for not allowing for relaxation. There is also no minibar and only one bottle of water in the room. Strangely enough, there is quite a rich breakfast available, however, in case you want cappuccino, espresso, or latte this comes at an additional charge. All foreigners should also know, that besides the receptionist the staff does not speak any English.

The included breakfast was amazing, probably the most memorable part of the trip. We invited a friend to join us for the Sunday brunch. The grounds feel like a small campus and its nice to just walk around and relax with a view of the mountains.

The room was not completely clean. The bathroom had dirt in the corners, and there was a large spider web hanging from the room of the room. The area around the hotel is not good for walking or taking a jog. Getting transit to town was not very easy. Also, they forced us to sign this large contract as soon as we go to checkin-in with a bunch of rules and fees, not a great first impression.
