Viang Yonok Hotel, Restaurant, Sports Club

Owner was very friendly, attentive, and helpful (personally attended to low tire pressure; directed staff to whip up a quick, delicious meal for us after restaurant hours. He was consummately knowledgeable about the surrounding area and took time to direct us to nearby restaurants, sites, scenic drives, and local history.

Beautiful place by the lake, very peaceful. The room was really nice with fantastic bedding. The dinner was absolutely exquisite and the host are all very welcoming and ready to help. This place is a gem!

Superb green and quiet location, friendly and helpful owner who speaks excellent English, very nice and clean rooms, lovely garden, good birding in and around the lodge, good breakfast; my only regret is that I only had time for one night here, would love to have stayed longer

inexplicably beds in Thailand always seem to have hard, very hard or just solid concrete matrasses - the matrass here was borderline ok, but an even softer matrass (or an aoptional thin but soft top-up matrass) would be nice

In a beautiful quiet location, very well appointed and spacious room in the grounds, very comfortable big bed, good shower hot water in the basin, TV with Netflix and Amazon and YouTube. Great breakfast and suppers and lovely owners Ian and Gin who were so kind and helpful.

Everything was good

Lovely guesthouse facing Chiang Saen Lake. The garden is spectacular populated with cats and peacocks! The owners are super kind, they offered me one of the best beef curry I had in Thailand, also they helped me planning my tour in motorbike. I spent one more day here because I loved this place. Hopefully I will be back. Pietro.
