Clean confortable and good location , The staff were exceptional especially Kirsty. The staff resourses were stretched to capacity but they were pleasant, and very attentive to our needs.

As stated earlier the staff were definetly streched and that was telling but becasue the staff were working to capacity they cant be blamed, you just need to support your people at the front line instead of putting pressure on them to work harder for less. Your approach relects very badly on your business model but the front line staff are doing there upmost by showing you committment by their professionalism. Invest in your people and stop stretching them to breaking point beciaue youve got profit tarhets to hit ... if yuo dont yuo will lose good people and yuor profit will reduce in the long term.

The location is perfect as a stop off ovetnight on our way to the Scottish highlands.

The shower was lovely, except that we couldnt use it safely, because the water temperature was really very hot, and the temperature control was too tight to turn. I managed a bit of a wash, but my wife dare not use it. Shame as we had a lovely room spart from that. It was room 9.

When we arrived we were greeted by a member of staff who didn’t know how to check us in. Once checked in we went to our room that was “ready” to find the towels from the previous guest still lying on the floor. The room was noisy due to the extractor fan in the bathroom continuously running. If we turned the heating on the noise from the radiator would’ve drove us around the bend . Dated decor in the room with signs of water damage in the ceiling. When we went in to the bar/restaurant we were told we’d have to stand at the bar for a while before we could get a seat just for a drink. We ordered food and when it eventually turned up it was cold . When we complained to a member of staff he said “I can microwave it for you”!
