Location was great, breakfast was lovely, staff were really nice. The room was good, beds and pillows were really comfy. Shower was nice and powerful. The pub food was delicious and the decor was really classy.

Breakfast was delicious but it could have been a bit warmer, the beans especially. The voile in room 8 needs washing and a couple of hooks needed. The decor was lovely but every where could do with a re-paint.

Decor was lovely

Easy to find using sat nav. Lots of parking. Easy check in. Rooms cosy, clean bedding, good heating system. Iron and ironing board. Kettle, tea, coffee etc provided. Decent sized flat screen tv. No fridge in room though. Nice bar area. Booked an evening meal, service polite, but meal took around a hour to arrive, appeared short of staff to me, some of the meal was hot, but fries and peas cold. Nice pint of cask Doombar. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that.

Nothing really, would have been nice to have another choice of cask ale on.

Could do with a wee bit of decor doing. Overall though was nice

Good location, easy to find. Warm welcome by staff. A bit overpriced, whole lodge could do with painting and some basic maintenance. The kick panel on my shower needed realigning and sealing. Very clean, bed was comfortable, but for the price I paid I expected brighter and a bit more than basics. I would stay again if I needed a bed for the night but it wouldn't be my first choice. Last morning of my stay, the electricity and water were off completely so I couldn't shower, make tea or have a proper breakfast. Not the inn's fault, but a partial refund could have been offered.

Needs a bit of a refurb to fix minor damages and a lick of paint to brighten up the rooms.

Lovely big and well equipped rooms, peaceful location, good food.

Horrible squishy pillows.

Everything was great,lovely evening meal, excellent breakfast,and great shower.

Waiting staff a bit slow,and forgot about us.
