"Good base for the area , we travelled by motorcycle, shame about the evening meals!"

"Lovely stay"

The building is beautiful and in a good location for traveling along the A74 (M) The staff were very welcoming and helpful, especially the lady who did breakfast service. Our room was a good size, clean warm and comfortable. It was lovely to have a bath and shower and plenty of hot water. The bed was super comfy and we both had a excellent sleep. Breakfast was continental and excellent, lots of choice lovely warm croissants, toast and boiled eggs and unlimited good coffee. Great value for money and would highly recommend.

The room felt a little dated, could do with some modernisation.

Only continental breakfast available which was not mentioned when booking, due to hotel having no chef Room supplied was not what we booked, twin instead of family room. TV in room was very small and hard to view

Old, basic and friendly. Cant fault price which was great. Nice wee packed breakfast/lunch ready for us as we were leaving before breakfast which was a nice touch

Place could do with new windows and a wee freshen up, but it would be alot more expensive then so nothing that we didn't like
