Nice hotel. It felt comfortable and the staff was very nice.

Friendly. Free water bottles.

Very strong scent of smoke in corridors. Our room was better. Presence of ashtray in room suggests the non smoking policy is not actively pursued.

That my dog was welcome. The verandah.

The mattress

The room was big and had a lot of space for our luggage.

The room was not sound-proof and the next door neighbors were very noisy all day and night. The hotel is old and in desperate need of renovation. The water in the shower didn't drain quickly enough, so you showered within a soapy pond. The door knob was old and stiff, so you had to find the "right" way to unlock it and get out of the room. The linens felt like they were not clean enough (had a smell of someone else). One of us returned with a staphylococcus infection. If you have lots of baggage or a bad back, or any mobility issue you will find the absence of an elevator quite inconvenient.

Very nice and helpful owner made sure I got to the bus station for next leg of my trip!
