Great location. Short walk to the harbour and its bars and restaurants. Very warm welcome from the manager Appearances deceive- while it looked basic from outside ( worn out sign ) it had a genuinely homely character to it.

Small but functional room. Desk for laptop with electric outlet nearby. Mini fridge. Good sized bathroom. Comfy bed. Quiet, only one staying at hotel. Great, friendly, helpful reception and support.

Room advertised with balcony, asked but told only double rooms have balcony (listing clearly states balcony on a single room). No kettle/coffee/tea in room but found kettle outside at bar and had own coffee for morning. Checked out before breakfast.

The location was very close to both the harbour and the central square. I liked the historical feel to the town both an old fishing town and a sea merchants port. The locals felt local and the atmosphere was friendly.

Access and signs to beaches could have been there but no problem as it wasn't difficuilt to find online. Some of the restaurants weren't supplied with coffee but then it was the first seaon after the virus.
