Very old facility needing to be refurbished or properly cleaned. Rooms smel very bed,pool is about 2km away away from the property, good luck walking there! Everything is decadent and not in a good condition. If you looking for haunted house experience you are in the right place.

Grounds a little tired.

A truly wonderful experience and stay in a place with such history and old world charm. It was so quiet and peaceful, we loved every minute of it. Breakfast and dinner was in the grand dining room. To relax and even take your after dinner coffee, we had the use of either the gold or red drawing rooms. Lunch was served in the courtyard with peacocks and the hotels two lovely dogs for company. The hotel staff made us very welcome and were attentive without being overbearing. If you’re up for a horseback ride, you can book these by the hour and enjoy scenic views of the valley from different parts of the estate. Just be aware there are some steep tracks to navigate!
