Overall an amazing place to experience the Chilean history on a hacienda. Thank you German, Antonio and all the staff for the amazing stay, hopefully we will be able to be back one day. cheers, Gina & Rob

We had a fantastic stay at the historic hacienda. We loved the ambiance of the time capsule. We enjoyed touring the grand house.

Felt like a cast member of Downton Abbey and was lord of the village. Unique, true to the bone old world Hacienda. The staff was fantastic in every way, and the chef was the best!

Water pressure had its moments…

Hotel Hacienda is located in a historical building dating back from the early 1600. We are pleasantly surprised to see that the room has its own wonderful fireplace and it provides us with warmth and creates a cosy atmosphere. After we check-in, the manager gave us a guided tour of the facility with detailed explanation of the history. We had our breakfast as well as dinner in an historical environment and they are delicious! The inner garden provides a quiet area for relaxation and we could even see peacocks on the surrounding rooftops in the morning. The staff was very attentive and helpful throughout the stay and the entire stay was wonderful and the atmosphere couldn’t be any better!

What a beautiful venue. I was the only guest for the two nights that I was there (mid week in winter), and was given the royal treatment. My room was massive, and the bed was very comfortable. The antique furnishings and fabric covered walls are so special. The bathroom was functional, and there was plenty of hot water. The monogrammed towels were big and fluffy. Meals are served in a spectacular dining room and were delicious. The meals are served on beautiful crockery and with the most delightful antique hand crafted cutlery. I spent 2 days just exploring the surrounding areas. There is beautiful scenery and good bird life. Casa Sliva, a big winery with a good restaurant, is also not far away. They have a chapel on the property and seems like they cater for a lot of conferences and weddings. But it really was the perfect stop over on my way from Santiago heading further south. It's only 5 minutes off Ruta 5.

The room relies on a wood burning fire for heating, which is fantastic, but dies before morning. The staff come around early to relight the fire, but I think a small backup heater would be useful. I would also have liked a kettle in the room for coffee. (Although again, coffee was brought to the room at 8.00 every morning).
