Maropeng Boutique Hotel

We loved everything! It is such a magical location and the staff being as friendly as they are is a bonus. The food is a little pricy but my oh my is it incredible! No matter what we tried, it was fantastic! Personally I recommend the cheesecake. It is the best cheesecake I have ever had in South Africa but they make it from scratch so be warned you do wait a bit for it. Also the breakfasts are amazing and there is plenty of food available. The rooms are incredibly well located as you have so much privacy and you can enjoy the mountain view. Also if it's a clear night, you can star gaze from your balcony. It's a great place for an escape.

I had a exceptionally comfortable stay with a comfy little room for a easy quick and memorable get away with genuinely exceptionally friendly and kind staff and care takers. The food there is unreal. And the locations has very beautiful views.

Not much I had a really good time, there could just possibly be a water machine or extra waters stored in the rooms fridges in the room when the cleaners tidy up because we couldn't find where to get water anywhere late at night and the restaurant was closed.

Everything about the place was good.

Nothing.

Firstly I arrived before checkin ,I was welcomed warmly with my little one .The bartender Mondli was super sweet and attentive even gave my little one some strawberries as a suprise .Had lunch ,thai chicken curry it was delicious ,the food is amazing ,for supper they called to ask we joining them and I had lamb and mash with my daughter ,it was so awesome .The complimentary breakfast was so good I was overwhelmed .The staff are the best thing about this place .My little one had the best time ,hopefully they will have more children menu options .

Its not what I didnt like but would improve the space ,is a modernisation of the furniture .The furniture at the entrance is perfect and that should be aesthetic motif of the whole place .
