A beautiful greeting with nothing too much trouble. A real family feeling to this place, making sure you feel right at home where life began all those years ago. The views out of the rooms is the exceptional, you could easily while away a day just sitting and seeing. Safe and comfortable

Great stay. - Maintenance is required on the Museum - It's unacceptable for items to be duct taped at such an institution. - Hotel Rooms need some Revamp - Furniture, carpets and paintwork is dated. - Hotel Restaurant - Dinner menu is far below standard (oversized Veg, underwhelming food, inconsistent food measurements). Overall, the experience was okay, but lacks elements of professionalism (Chef & Maintenance), there is just need for professional maintenance at the museum and Hotel. Perhaps someone who is very detail oriented.

The restaurant staff were generally very polite and friendly.

Certain desserts weren't available - you have a small menu, so you would expect items to be available. No mushrooms for breakfast omelette. Strawberries too old to eat. Latch on bedroom door missing. Bathroom walls mouldy. Shower mouldy. Paint on bathroom walls cacking. Cupboard doors by fridge not aligned. Cappuccino was cold. There was a hair floating in my other Cappuccino. Ordered soft eggs for Eggs Benedict on Sunday and they were served hard.

Loved everything about my stay. Received a warm welcome upon arrival, room was perfect and spacious with amazing views. All staff were friendly and efficient. Favourite part was the food! After a luxurious massage I received an incredibly delicious platter that topped off my amazing experience.
