Laurus - Charming House

The housekeeper Anna is a warm and welcoming host. She prepares the most wonderful breakfasts with great care.. The property is newly renovated and very comfortable. Spotlessly clean too. We highly recommend Laurus House!

This place fully deserves a 10 star rating, the hospitality from Sonia and Ana is exceptional. Really spacious room and bathroom, spotlessly clean, very comfy bed and beautifully decorated. But what really stood out was the breakfast, lovingly prepared and delicious!

Amazing breakfast, the host is super friendly and will make you feel welcome. Beautifully furnished rooms, modern with everything you need. A few restaurants close by and just a quick car drive to the beach. Good parking right in front.

Our room was small, but very beautiful, modern and clean. Amazing breakfast, homemade by wonderful Anna! A lot of beautiful beaches nearby, but a car is needed.

I loved how personalized the entire stay was. Anna baked these amazing cakes alongside the delicious breakfast options. This is a great stay if you're wanting a more secluded and less busy area outside of Lagos. The bed was super comfy and the room was very clean. Free parking. Easy to get to by car.

In regards to the location, I had the impression I wouldn't need a car getting around but I ended up getting one because it was a lot easier. The bus schedule is not reliable, and they are very scarce. I have no complaints about my stay in the accommodation itself.

Doesn't get any cuter than this. Great room, beautiful location, tasty breakfast, friendly staff. They say "charming house," but that is *quite* the understatement.

Laurie is a gorgeous house that is well laid out and nicely decorated. Ana made us an incredible breakfast every morning and delicious cake in the afternoon which was a treat.

The property was on a main road and there was no fan or air conditioning inside the room meaning we had to open the windows because the room was way too hot. This meant it was difficult to sleep because it was very loud at night. Putting fans in the rooms would fix this though

One of the most beautiful and thoughtfully created accommodations I've ever stayed in. The rooms are so well designed. The women operating the guesthouse are wonderful. I stayed here at the beginning of my trip to Portugal and it set the standard so high. I was a solo traveller and felt incredibly safe. It is located in a small village but extremely accessible to beaches and several activities (SUP tour, surf lessons, coaster ring). Even if you don't have a car, the guesthouse is beside the bus 47 stop which travels across the Algarves several times a day! Breakfasts are delicious, the entire guesthouse is impeccably clean, really feels like a 5-star stay.
