Laurus - Charming House

The rooms are modern and beautiful, especially the bathrooms. The shared kitchen is roomy, modern, and comfortable.

Very clean and comfortable room with private bathroom. Comfy mattress, nice linen quality. Great breakfast options to set you for the day. Very hospitable host.

The location of the house is on very busy loud road, next to bus stop and bar across... tends to get loud esp when trying to rest up. Rooms have no AC which means you have to keep windows open to let air in. Even with windows open it was hot for my comfort, it gets loud and mosquitoes get in. That's the only downside.

A very nice clean up to date in terms of technology house. Also very strategically positioned for you to have a refreshing swim in one of the empty gold sand beaches in the morning, a nice walk in Lagos and enjoy the sunset at cap Saint Vincent.

Nothing to be honest. Although the place doesn’t have AC, you don’t feel the heat.

The accommodation Laurus impressed us greatly. The rooms are beautifully decorated, clean, and well-equipped. The breakfast is outstanding, as they provide a customized menu daily where you can choose what you want to eat and at what time. The breakfast is freshly made just for you and accompanied by a large plate of assorted fruits. Not only is the breakfast delicious, but the portions are also generous. In the kitchen where the host prepares breakfast, you can prepare some simple meals for lunch or dinner if you clean up after yourself. You are welcome to use the refrigerator for your own food and drinks. Additionally, every day, the host prepares some treats like cookies or cake, which are waiting for you in the accommodation, and you can help yourself. Just to mention that the accommodation doesn't have an A/C, but It really isn’t needed. We were there during the peak of the summer and the nights were fresh, so there was no need for A/C whatsoever. This is one of the best accommodations we have stayed in; pictures cannot capture the comfort and quality of this place. The town of Raposeira itself doesn't have many amenities, but it is only a half-hour drive to Lagos, and the nearest beaches are just a 10-minute drive away. It's an excellent and peaceful location if you want to explore Algarve.

Everything, location, design, cleanliness, breakfast, staff - everything was really perfect! The lady cooking us breakfast in the morning was super caring and made us the best food.

Bathroom is sort of separated from the room but there is still a hole on top so practically it is in the same space :) it will be a connecting/bonding experience if you come with a partner or friend.

The breakfasts were very good.The lady who prepares them is passionate about cooking. The room was clean and everything was on the right place. We recomend it in 100%.
