Das Wismeyer - Skihotel an der Plattenkarbahn

I don't even know where to start with my compliments. Let me mention that this hotel was not our first choice ... and apparently the best things happen spontaneously and unexpectedly. A friendly, smiling man met us in the parking lot with a sled and helped us to the hotel with all the equipment. The room is large, clean and comfortable, as is the bathroom. The view from the room directly onto the ski slope is fantastic. The food is fantastic and all the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. I would happily recommend this hotel to all my friends and acquaintances... I can't wait to come back next year.

Location to ski slope. Breakfast easy. Plenty of bars around

Ideally needs a common area where you can gather and have a cup of coffee or own wine. A lift would be nice as well but realise it's not that simple.

Staff were brilliant, they work hard and it's so well run.The ski lift is right next to the hotel, it's amazing. Restaurant food is fabulous and great value for money. The receptionists and waiters are so nice and helpful.

Nothing it's perfect, I would definitely return.

Too old rooms, cold welness area (and no fruits)

The hotel is located right on the piste between two ski lifts, which is really convenient for skiers. Keep in mind that you have to leave your car in a parking lot a little further away and walk across the ski slope to get to the hotel. That suited us. They deliver your luggage to the hotel and take you to the car on a ski scooter, that's really great. The ski and boot storage is in a convenient location on the ground floor of the hotel and is well equipped. There is an exit from the ski storage room that leads directly to the slope, and this door is also easily accessible for returning from the slope. The staff is polite, helpful and everyone was really great. Breakfast was quite good, dinners were above expectations, very good food. The room and bathroom were very clean.

There is no elevator in the hotel. We didn't have a kettle in the room, which was a big deal in the evening. In the morning we asked them to fill a thermos with hot water, which they were happy to do. It is not clearly mentioned that robes for sauna use are charged extra, and that they do not have disposable slippers for sauna use.

food was excellent. staff very nice and helpful. located between two lift stations, easy beginning and ending a ski day. perfect location for night skiing.

Das Wismeyer is a perfect hotel for skiers. It is located directly on the ski slope. The personnel is very friendly and helpful. It is useful to know that the hotel helps to transport the luggage from the parking to the hotel as it is a 5 minutes walk and you need to cross a ski slope. Breakfasts at Das Wismeyer are plentiful and tasty. The restaurant also offers very good dinners (menu / a la carte). The room is basic but comfortable and very clean.

Beds could be more comfotable.
