A very quiet place, but just walking distance from the bustle of the town. It was a spacious room. Very clean. A good selection of breakfast options - nice masala chai and proper coffee. The location is just a short walk down a slope to the Ganga. Coming back involves climbing steps up the hill, so you get some additional exercise for free! They organised a guided meditation class for us at short notice - it was a great session. Overall, Durga and the rest of the staff were very accommodating and helped to make it a very pleasant stay.

A minor point - water from the shower leaks onto the floor as the shower curtain is very short. There was a floor-wiper provided in the bathroom so we could wipe away the puddles.

Everything from the location, room , service was amazing ….especially the warmth of the hosts

Found some dead cockroaches plus the curtain on the wall can be replaced with cleaner ones

Tea bags in the room. Though the team is prompt and cooperative, but being sadhaks at times service is delayed or response is delayed . Reception is not manned all the time as in other hotels of India .

The nuns are lovely, and very friendly and I like the location on the hill and the big balcony and roof terrace. It could feel like home if one had a long stay there. One can join in their practices and visit the ashram.

Buying bottles of water instead of being offered free refills. India has a rubbish crisis and it is important to be eco..guests would happily pay for refills if required. It would have been a big bonus to be able to borrow yoga mats.
