Ganga Vatika Boutique Apartments, Rishikesh

Very comfortable and peaceful stay. We had a wonderful time there and they have a temple of theirs which I will recommend everyone staying here to visit once. Other than that the staff was very polite and helpful.

Not up to the mark

Rooms all electric switches was not ok and even in toilet proper maintenance was not there. Not value for money. They are only know money nothing else. Every time showing policies but not the service. Very sad

The rooms were well-maintained and nicely managed, but the lighting was dim. It would have been better to have brighter lights. The location is convenient if you have your own vehicle, as there is a 5-minute trek from Ramjhula if you choose to go on foot. However, this is not advisable if you are with senior parents

As it is a homestay managed by Spanish monks, please note that there is no room service available. For cleaning, you need to inform them a day in advance. Unfortunately, there were no water coolers, so you have to purchase water bottles from outside. Despite booking a family room for two days for four people, only one water bottle was provided.

My stay at Ganga Vatika Boutique Hotel was wonderful. If you are looking for a Hotel that is also connected to an Ashram, you are at the right spot. I had only booked 2 nights, but stayed 5. As a solo female traveller I felt 100% safe in the hotel and the surroundings. Ganga is only a 5 Minute walk away and you can reach many places in Rishikesh by foot. The room was very clean and comfortable for Indian standards. The hotel is managed by vedic monks, who are connected to the Ashram nearby. The homecooked ayurvedic food was amazing and cooked with lots of love. I can also very much recommend to book an ayurvedic massage with Arati and participate in the temple prayers and rituals. It is truly not only a hotel, but a spiritual home. It is my recommendation for an unforgettable and relaxing stay in Rishikesh.

Actually there was nothing that we liked since we travelled with senior citizens. The stay was disappointing however the behavior of the staff was good.

The services were not upto the mark. There was a clause of security deposit of 1000 INR per room which was not mentioned in booking.com anywhere at the time of booking. Though the amount is refundable but still it should have been informed earlier. The rooms are shabby and damp. There was no food or service available after 8 pm. There was no caretaker present most of the time. This is neither a hotel nor a homestay. We had senior citizens travelled with us so needed some services which was missing. It's not worth of spending 4000 for one room without breakfast or dinner. We had to go outside to have dinner and spent double the money.
