Insotel Tarida Beach Resort & SPA

Lovely but not for anyone with mobility issues. We are a couple (early 50’s) and had a great week. Staff very friendly and attentive. Adult pool was very chill and we thought the location to the beach was excellent. Restaurant was immaculate (as was all the public areas) food was good. Nice service from the waiting staff. Our room (302) ground floor and huge with great location to the restaurant and bar. The views from the sunset bar are amazing. Shout out to Yolanda at the sunset bar.. what a fab asset to the hotel. We booked the Italian restaurant and really enjoyed the food. Again the staff were lovely. Finally… the hills. I have some mobility issues and I struggled to get around. Everything is on a hill. The walk to The Retreat, the bar, the pool… We originally booked direct with The Insotel Playa and were upgraded at check in to The Beach & Spa. This was a lovely gesture and we are very thankful to the team for this.

We stayed at this hotel with our 3 year old and had a lovely holiday. The swim up room was great, we were lucky enough to get one in the sun all afternoon. The hotel is a short transfer from the airport, around 20/30 minutes and quick check in with room ready upon arrival. The restaurant was lovely and modern, never an issue getting a table and nice to sit outside, the sunrise and sunset views are amazing. The Italian was also nice, we sat outside and the staff were very friendly. Good variety of food. The retreat was a short walk up the road and our son loved it, great kids play pool and nice restaurant for lunch. The beach was also a short walk and stunnin. Overall a lovely hotel and would recommend, we have booked to return next year.

First time at the hotel & Tarida beach, thought it was fab! Really nice spot overlooking the beautiful beach & excellent facilities. Great that they have adult only areas too, although we were visiting in low season so not that many kids on site anyway. Staff we encountered were all friendly & helpful. Lovely sunset bar too... would definitely return

Our second visit to this gorgeous hotel, just as good as the first. Employees at the hotel were excellent, super selection of food, music and views from the Sunset Bar were brilliant. Love the separate areas for adults and the way the Life Guards and restaurant staff ensure that these areas are kept for adults. From reception, catering, maintenance to cleaners, this is an exceptionally well run establishment. Just one thing that they need to do is improve lighting on the steps at the front of the main restaurant as guests could easily trip.

Our second stay here and we enjoyed it every bit as much as the first time. Sure, the buffet food could have been warmer and there was no red wine for a couple of days but it's a package holiday and extremely good value. No complaints here. We'll be back again for more of those chilled Ibiza vibes in the Sunset Lounge!

Just had twelve fantastic nights here in October. My fourth time in Ibiza and this resort by far has been the best. After reading some of the negative reviews, I honestly don't know what people want/expect. The criticisms I felt are unwarranted. The staff (I've never seen so many staff at a hotel) were amazing; and couldn't do enough for you. Always welcomed you with a smile and greeting - particularly Antonia, Tutu & Micaela. We paid for an adult's only swim up room which was amazing. Room was adequately sized, with a balcony that dropped onto the poolside decking with parasol and two sunbeds. The swim up pool was sufficiently sized for those occasions when you just needed a cool down. Well kept and clean. The whole resort felt like a Caribbean resort, with palm trees and banana plants dotted around the well kept grounds. All the accommodation units were three storeys and all utilised the sloping topography, so that none of them felt too tall or overshadowing. The resort leads directly onto Playa Tarida which is a fantastic sandy beach which has shallow waters with the most turquoise waters I've seen. And at the time of year we went, wonderfully warm. Facilities were amazing and we didn't even use all of what was on offer. There's a large family pool at one end of the resort and an adult's only at the other end. There's also a large are called 'The Retreat' about a 5 min walk away, complete with its own bar/restaurant and children's splash pool and slides. The restaurant and food were fantastic and offered a wide selection of varying cuisines every day; and if you needed to know anything about the food, the chefs were able to advise as well as the head chef who made herself available on the floor everyday. The Beach Bar was well positioned and offered a little space to sit and people watch or read our kindles with an Aperol Spritz with the sound of waves in the distance. Something which we found extraordinary was the availability of premium branded drinks. Usually all-inclusives will offer a local alternative to spirits or mixers, but if you asked for branded vodkas, rums or gins, you could have them As others have said, the Sunset Bar was fantastic and offered amazing views of the horizon and potential sunset when the weather behaves - something the hotel nor TUI can control :D If I had to make any complaint, it would be that the WiFi was a bit spotty at times and occasionally dropped out. The bed was also somewhat uncomfortable but that was rectified quickly by Jana (Guest Relations) who was really helpful. But these are minor niggles, and didn't detract from a fantastic stay; we'd only been there two days and decided we would be coming back.

I thought the hotel itself was clean and tidy kept very well.

cleaner sunbeds, warmer pools, better bar food poolside, cold sandwiches not right for a 5 star hotel.

we were placed in a good block close to restaurant, beach and pool area but you could get placed in the further back blocks which could be a problem for people with children etc
