Ammothines Cycladic Suites

Great location, really liked the decor - stripped back sustainable luxury. The beach is 20 seconds walk away and they have beautiful gardens with vegetables growing in there for the kitchen

The pool is not just for guests - on our first day there were seven children playing in the pool who weren’t staying there - they dominated the pool all afternoon which was not good for paying guests

Amazing location at Plaka, very peaceful. The interior & exterior is well thought off, very stylish, fresh. The room was spacious. The quality of products is great! The staff was extremely welcoming & caring!

I’ve seen reviews before about the property being overpriced. I tend to agree if we compare with 5 star hotels. This boutique hotel couldn’t compete with big ones (limited breakfast options, no 24/7 food, no daily complimentary water & coffee, no gym/sauna/whatever). However, I think here we pay for extremely peaceful location, amazing beach & sea, boutique ambience, quality farm products. it’s kind of unique.

The pool area was nice and across the road from beach

The rooms we were given didn’t match the description or photos of the room so we thought we were paying for a bedroom and living room with sofa bed but really were just given a bed. The bar fridge was empty not even water was given and you are charged to the room of you want someone to bring h you drinks from the car as well as drinks. Also you have to pay extra to use the hotels sunbeds. I wouldn’t rate it a 5 star hotel.
