great location, staff were lovely and had everything you need for a nice stay for a good price

It’s a colonial building with good bones, and large rooms. My room was big and bright, with a balcony.

Unfortunately, I was violently ill for the entire time - three days and nights - that I stayed, here. There was no air con, just a fan, which didn’t help. Worse was the constant thumping of electronic salsa music all day and long into the night from the nearby zocalo. I was not impressed with the fact that although I told the staff at reception when checking in that i was ill, nobody bothered knocking on my door for the entire time, to ask if I was OK. When. a guest doesn’t appear for 48 hours straight, you’d have thought they sent someone to see if the occupant was still alive.

the hotel is beautiful and well located, the rooms were big and comfortable, the staff was friendly

not related to the property but the location.. as it is located at the heart of city, and it was the days around the day of the death celebrations, there were a lot of activities with loud music and noises. we did not mind as it was to be expected but good yo know if you are planning your holidays around national holidays/festivities
